A Canadian adult-industry campaign
EAT BEAVER
Eat Local. Support Canadian.
Canada produces some extraordinary things: maple syrup, hockey players, lumber, whisky and Beaver. Before looking south of the border, take a moment to appreciate what Canada has to offer.
Our economic policy
Keep Your Loonies Local.
Canadians are being encouraged to read labels, check ownership and think about where their money goes. We support that commitment. We simply believe the conversation has been unnecessarily limited to groceries, furniture and automobiles when Canada has an entire adult economy operating right here at home.
Canadian adult businesses employ people, hire suppliers, build technology, manufacture products, operate stores, create media and spend money in Canadian communities. Supporting them is not a separate economic theory. It is the same Buy Canadian argument with considerably better dinner conversation.
01
100% Local
No international shipping required. Canada already has domestic supply.
02
No Tariffs
Trade policy has rarely been sexy. We are doing what we can.
03
Short Supply Chains
Sometimes the domestic alternative is only a taxi ride away.
04
Canadian Content
Canada has more to contribute than television quotas and Heritage Minutes.
Canadian sourcing
Know Where Your Beaver Comes From.
Buying Canadian can be complicated. A Canadian company can sell imported products, and a maple leaf on the package does not always tell the whole story. Fortunately, Beaver is easier: for Eat Beaver, Canadian means operating in Canada.
It is about where the business operates, not ethnicity, citizenship or birthplace. Canada is Canada, local is local, and we are not establishing a federal Beaver certification bureaucracy unless the grant is surprisingly generous.
Domestic capacity
Canada Knows the Adult Business.
Montreal is home to major adult technology and media companies. Ontario has Canadian-owned retailers, manufacturers and distributors. Vancouver has decades of adult retail history. The Canadian connection is not a punchline we invented for the domain. There is a substantial industry underneath it.
National policy
The Beaver Manifesto
Canada has spent centuries discussing lumber, dairy, energy, manufacturing and international trade. We believe an important domestic industry has been overlooked.
Canadian Content Has Never Looked This Good.
Eat Beaver does not currently sell, book or arrange anything. For now, we are doing something much more Canadian: encouraging you to consider the domestic alternative.
Eat Local. Support Canadian. Eat Beaver.
